Contemporary Worship @ 9

The fellowship hall is called “The Spring” as it both bridges our campus building over one for the Rock Spring tributaries, but it is also a place that bubble up God’s presence in song and praise.

Our nine o’clock worship service is one of the best places for genuine prayer, dynamic praise music in a contemporary and casual style.

Chris, our praise team leader, blessing us with fresh selections every week. Worship begins with “vertical time” to help focus our hearts for worship with scripture and music. Some Sundays are acoustic, others are plugged in, but every Sunday has music that is a blessing. If you play or sing and would like to share your talents one Sunday, please speak with Chris.

We have an annual “Strings in the Spring” service where we invite help us reach a goal of 100 acoustic instruments in worship. The children and youth have season services where they lead with their talents and special services. If you would like to listen to the praise band practice they meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

Our preacher is Rev. Dr. John Brantley; he has been with us for five of his thirty-four years of ministry. His sermons are in a casual and conversational style; they are focused on scripture and Christain living. He is known for giving ‘homework’ to apply what we read. We welcome all persons in our worship service and hope you will join us this Sunday.
